OK, it's time for some updates.

A Change Of Heart, Chapter 3 is in early beta.

A Change Of Heart, Chapter 4 is being pieced together from scenes I've written earlier.

Chapter 5 of the same story had to be re-written a bit, but it'll be the last one.

I'm still not back writing but I am able to pick at a new chapter of Twelve Months. I won't make any promises about when it might appear but, well I won't make any promises.

I've plenty of other projects that exist in note or summary form but the concentration to press on with them isn't there yet.

Well, I joined MetaFic tonight. :-) I've also never really blogged before. It never seemed important enough, so we'll see how this goes. Who knows how often (or not) I'll do this...

At the moment, "Lily's Child" (LC) is my main story.
Ch 2 recently posted.
Ch 3 is in "mid-beta".
Ch 4 is in "early-beta".
Ch 5 is at alpha.
Ch 6 is outlined and ~20% written.
Beyond that, I only have a high level outline with some holes that really need filling in.

The first day of MetaFic going live is almost over (and for me it already is over, for like four hours). Users are registering slowly but surely, and they're sniffing around.

It makes me feel all warm inside. Well, it's either that, or the glass of Whiskey I just drank.

Either way, it feels good to see some activity here. This place was lonely while we were working on it.

Dave's welcome post probably told you enough about the site, but I'm going to add a few pointers of my own anyway.

This is a test of posting on MetaFic from my iPhone. The posting was done through an AppStore application called BlogWriter.

So, I am testing out the blog feature on the website, and decided a good first point would be to update people on the progress of Curse Breakers. I am about 20% complete with Chapter 8, which means that I have written 2000 words for the chapter out of 10000.

1. Default HTML format for authorized authors (I keep forgetting)
2. Is it possible to post a hosted image on a story page?

1. Beta recognition. Even if we can get it linked and everything, I think a text field on the story page would be good. I'd like to build beta recognition in from the ground up, because that's a new thing that is worth doing.
